Why it exists
The usual way to learn video poker is to stand at a machine and pay for every mistake, one hand at a time, without ever being told what the right play was. Royal Leak does the opposite: it deals you the same hands and tells you exactly what you should have held, and what the wrong hold cost.
What it does
- Deal a hand, choose your hold, and see whether it matches the mathematically optimal hold.
- Every mistake is priced: the app shows the expected-value difference in credits between your hold and the best one.
- The full ranking of alternative holds is available for the hand you just played, so you can see why the best hold wins.
- Session statistics track how often you find the optimal hold and where your credits are leaking.
- Hand history is kept on the device so you can review the hands you misplayed.
- Everything runs on the device. No account, no sign-in, no network connection needed.

To be clear about what those numbers mean: both figures are below 100%. Perfect play does not beat these games — it loses more slowly than imperfect play. Royal Leak is a practice tool for understanding correct strategy, and it makes no claim that any of these games can be beaten.
Free, and free of everything else
Royal Leak costs nothing. There are no in-app purchases, no subscriptions, no advertising, and no analytics or tracking of any kind. It collects no personal information — see the privacy policy for the details.
There is no real money in the app. You cannot deposit, wager, buy credits, or cash anything out. The credits are simulated and exist only to keep score while you practice.
